This will be a dark grey colour. When the steel is exposed to moisture in the air or rain etc. The rusty patinas will begin to form quickly.
A full rusted look can take as little as 4-6 weeks. You don't need to do anything as it will happen naturally, but if you wish to speed up the process, a light spray of water a few times per day or a mix of water and vinegar.
